Print & Organize Your Luminara Learning

LUMINARA PREP • FAMILY SETUP GUIDE

Give your printed learning a home

Start with a few useful pages, keep them together, and reuse the activities your learner enjoys. Your digital purchase includes the files described on its product page. Paper, printing, binders and other physical supplies are separate unless specifically listed as included.

1. Choose how to keep it together

Your setup What to use
A flexible learning binder Use a binder that matches your file’s paper size, a hole punch, dividers and optional sheet protectors. For US Letter pages, choose 8.5 × 11-inch supplies. Keep the child workbook and parent companion in separate binders, or use a larger binder. Sheet protectors add bulk, so check the binder’s stated capacity.
A simple weekly folder Use a folder or document wallet you already own. Print the next few pages, place finished work behind current activities, and file parent notes separately. An adult can staple a small weekly booklet.
A bound workbook Ask a print shop about coil or comb binding for your chosen page count. Confirm paper size, single- or double-sided printing, cover choices, finished edges and the total quote before ordering. Ask for separate child and parent books. Binding is an optional service you arrange; it is not included with the download.

2. Print a small test first

  1. Download and save your purchase files. Open the Start Here instructions and check the document’s paper size.
  2. Print one activity page at the file’s recommended scale. If anything is cut off, check paper size and scaling before printing more.
  3. Use ordinary printer paper for most workbook pages. Use compatible cardstock for cards or pieces that need extra structure. Check your printer’s paper-weight limits.
  4. Print the week you need. Color is optional unless an activity depends on color. A caregiver can adapt the activity or model the color with a real object.

3. Protect the pages you will reuse

Slide a reusable activity into a compatible dry-erase pocket or sheet protector and test a small area with an appropriate marker. Wipe it clean after use. You can laminate selected visual supports instead; there is no need to laminate the whole workbook.

Adult preparation: Adults handle cutting, stapling, hole punching, binding and laminating. Let laminated pages cool and finish edges safely. Marker caps, binder rings, clips, fasteners and small cut-out pieces must stay away from children who mouth objects. Follow every supply manufacturer’s directions.

4. Use five simple sections

  • This week: the few pages you are using now.
  • Communication + routines: visual supports you return to often.
  • Finished learning: work you want to keep.
  • Parent notes: guidance, observations and next steps.
  • Certificates + records: family learning records.

Store loose visual cards in a labeled pouch or closed container. A binder ring can help an adult carry larger cards, but it is not a toy and should not be left with a child who mouths small objects.

5. Buy only what helps your family

A folder and ordinary paper are enough to begin. A binder, sleeves, dividers and a pouch make a flexible upgrade. A laminator is optional. Physical supplies may ship separately from fulfillment partners, and stock and delivery charges are shown during shopping and checkout.
