Arizona ESA + ClassWallet at Luminara Prep™
Current status: Arizona ESA curriculum vendor approval and ClassWallet DirectPay setup are complete. Luminara Prep is now operational for DirectPay invoice submissions. Families can choose current learning resources, request an unpaid itemized invoice, and submit that invoice through their own ClassWallet account for ADE/ClassWallet review. Regular Shopify checkout remains separate from the DirectPay invoice workflow.
Luminara Prep is an independent educational publisher offering curriculum, visual learning supports, homeschool resources, and clearly mapped supplemental learning materials.

Book 1 • Beginning of the complete pathway
First Roots, First Words starts a planned learning sequence through high school graduation.
This is the first published book in Luminara Prep’s planned complete curriculum pathway. Learning begins with ages 2–3, continues into preschool and Pre-K, and is being developed to progress grade by grade through elementary school, middle school, Grade 12, and high school graduation.
Only Book 1 is currently published. Future Pre-K–12 books and grade levels are in development, not yet for sale, and not represented as currently ESA/ClassWallet approved.
Current learning catalog
Our currently published anchor course, First Roots, First Words — 36-Week Homeschool Curriculum for Ages 2–3, is a 233-page complete digital family library and Book 1 / the first release in the planned learning pathway through high school graduation. The current library includes a 120-page Child Workbook, 99-page Parent Homeschool Companion, 6-page Core Visual Card Pack, and 8-page Evidence & Resource Library. Its course of study, objectives, teaching methods, and supplemental-resource relationships are documented in the ESA Documentation Center.

Curriculum expansion: preschool through high school
Luminara Prep is actively developing a coordinated curriculum pathway spanning preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school. Future grade-level releases will follow the same documentation-first standard used for our current curriculum, including course descriptions, scope and sequence, learning objectives, teaching methods, pacing guidance, and mapped supplemental materials.

Clear funding boundaries
The Arizona ESA Learning Resources collection is kept separate from cash support, sponsorships, family-support gift cards, and general donation activity. Those support options are not presented as current ESA curriculum purchases.
Placement in an education collection does not guarantee approval. Supplemental materials may require documentation connecting the item to the student’s curriculum or educational plan. Final eligibility is determined by the Arizona Department of Education and/or ClassWallet under current program rules.
How an Arizona ESA DirectPay request works
ClassWallet DirectPay is active for Luminara Prep. Families with an active Arizona ESA account can submit our unpaid itemized invoice through their own ClassWallet account. Regular Shopify checkout is separate from DirectPay; do not use ordinary Shopify checkout for an ESA DirectPay request unless a separate ClassWallet website checkout integration is activated.
- Browse the current learning resources and choose the items that fit your student's course of study.
- Request an itemized invoice with product links, quantities, and your contact email. We will follow up for the details required on the invoice, including the student's name. Please do not email ESA login details, account numbers, medical records, or identity documents.
- The ESA account holder submits our unpaid itemized invoice and any required curriculum documentation through their own ClassWallet account. ADE/ClassWallet reviews each request under current program rules.
- We confirm approval and payment in our vendor account before releasing a digital product or fulfilling a physical order. Review and bank settlement times vary.

Ordinary Shopify checkout remains available for non-ESA purchases. Buying there does not itself place a DirectPay order. For Arizona ESA purchases, use the unpaid itemized-invoice / DirectPay pathway unless a separate ClassWallet website checkout integration is activated.
Age and eligibility: Book 1 is written for ages 2–3. Product age range does not establish a child's ESA eligibility. Only the account holder and ADE can determine whether an individual student and purchase qualify.
ClassWallet Vendor Pay processing fee on ESA invoices
ClassWallet’s Arizona ESA Vendor Pay/DirectPay guidance lists a 2% processing fee. Luminara Prep will calculate and separately itemize that fee on ESA invoices rather than hiding it in product pricing.
The family should submit only the exact total shown on the Luminara Prep invoice through ClassWallet. This fee policy applies to ESA/ClassWallet Vendor Pay/DirectPay transactions, not ordinary non-ESA Shopify checkout.
Reviewer and family documentation
Product pages and the Documentation Center identify educational purpose, age range, curriculum relationship, format, and fulfillment. Our unpaid invoice will identify the vendor, student, item descriptions, prices, the separate ClassWallet Vendor Pay processing-fee line, and the total. Luminara Prep passes the allowed ClassWallet vendor processing cost through to the ESA customer so Luminara does not absorb it. The exact fee rate used will be the Arizona ESA DirectPay rate confirmed in Luminara Prep's ClassWallet registration agreement. If that rate is charged on the full invoice total, the fee line will be grossed up so the net amount Luminara receives equals the product/service subtotal. The family should submit to ClassWallet only the exact total shown on the invoice.

Your ESA/ClassWallet account stays under your control
The ESA account holder submits the unpaid invoice and any required supporting documentation through the account holder's own ClassWallet account. Luminara Prep will never ask for or access your ESA/ClassWallet password, login credentials, payment-card information, or other account-access information.
Approval reminder: An invoice request is not an ADE/ClassWallet approval or a completed ESA purchase. Final purchase eligibility is determined by ADE/ClassWallet.
